Easy Tender Flaky Pie Crust

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, sift all dry ingredients and mix to incorporate.
2. Add the cubed butter to the mixing bowl and coat each piece in the dry mixture.
3. Using a pastry cutter, cut butter into the dry mixture until the mixture has a coarse grain.
4. In a small bowl, beat one egg, then add to the mixing bowl.
5. Fold the egg completely into the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
6. Add 1 Tbs of ice water and mix by hand, forming the dough into a ball.
7. If the ball is not forming add a little more water 1/s Tbs at a time
8. Once the dough ball is formed, flatten into a thick pattie and cover with plastic wrap
9. Let dough rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
10. Use dough according to the instructions in your recipe.
